Just like Vince Lombardi of American Football who was honored by the Green Bay Packers with a statue, most famous people are somehow honored when they die. Ebenezer Cobb Morley has been recognized in a few ways. Each year the FA president puts a wreath over Ebenezer's grave to remember what he's done for soccer. There has also been a Twitter campaign to help recognize what he's done. The campaign will be to create a life size sculpture of him near the location where he lived. Below there's also a plaque that was put up 5 years ago that shows the city of Hull's appreciation for his work.
