This website provides information on the invention of the laws of the game for soccer. It shows a cause and an effect of why it was created. The cause were injuries and plenty of them and the King of England banning the sport. Ebenezer Cobb Morley decided that if he created rules to the game, then maybe it will be unbanned and that is what happened. This is reliable because the author’s credentials were on the site.

This is a primary source that was found on a school database so it is trustworthy. This website discusses why the laws of the game were built. It says that each place you would go, there would be a different set of rules and some of the games would be very violent. Ebenezer wanted that to come to an end so he established these rules to be used all over Europe. Some people believed that there should still be hacking allowed but those people eventually became the founders of the rugby. This website also provides sources for all different kinds of sources that are all primary sources.
